Planar Hall effect in topological materials

چکیده

The planar Hall effect (PHE) is one of the hot topics in field condensed matter physics. In recent years, PHE has received great attention especially topological materials such as insulators and semimetals, progress been made. Different from ordinary effect, transverse current, magnetic field, electric can appear same plane cannot be explained by Lorentz force, which largely depends on anisotropy magnetoresistivity. With development nonlinear materials, extended to a regime, also extensively studied experiments. To explain linear observed experiments, various microscopic mechanisms have proposed theoretically. this review, we introduce research about PHEs theory experiment aspects, deeply analyze extrinsic intrinsic leading PHEs. physical mainly include tilt Dirac cone, magnon scattering, chiral anomaly (or chiral-anomaly-like), shift Berry curvature, whereas ones Drude term, curvature dipole, anomaly, Berry-connection polarizability. addition, propose related problems solved future directions.
